OMIClear manages a proprietary clearing system - MiClear - connected in real time with the trading system and with the OTC registration platform, both managed by OMIP and supported in Trayport technology.
MiClear is a platform with access via the Internet or dedicated lines that covers, in real time, all the features of an energy derivatives’ clearing house, including management positions, guarantees, risk, collateral, and settlement, involving all the trading members, clearing members and settlement agents in the market.
Besides the terminals for managing the activity of each agent provided by OMIClear, it is also available a powerful Clearing API.
